Hot Rod Plexi 50 – Tube Amplifier:

Based on the classic 80s rock and metal tones of the LA scene. I modded the Classique 50 circuit to get cascaded JCM800 tones and more while retaining clarity and punch. I added a “Jose” switch which adds more compression and was featured in many players amps of the time. It helps get that sought after VH sound! A versatile single channel amp that delivers a wide range of tones from 60s rock to 80s metal. Features point to point wiring, polypropylene signal caps, F&T filter caps, and Heyboer transformers.

Flamethrower 50 – High Gain Dual Channel Tube Amplifier:

Hot Rod Plexi lead channel coupled with a more traditional Plexi channel make this a versatile dual channel amp that delivers a wide range of tones from 60s rock to 80s metal. Features point to point wiring, polypropylene signal caps, F&T filter caps, and Heyboer transformers.

Szabla 32 Watt – Tube Amplifier:

Finished this build during the holiday season of 2024 and spent a little extra time getting the recipe dialed in for the Plexi voiced channel. Also comes with a tweaked Black Panel AB763 channel for the ultimate clean so you get the best of both worlds! Reverb and Trem are universal to both channels. The Plexi channel features a switchable “Jose” Zener diode clipping mod for some 80s chewy compression. I call it the “Szabla” which means Saber in Polish….cuts through any mix? lol. Cheesiness aside, it is a 32 Watt tube amp so it can cut in a live setting but you can push the amp a bit and get the power stage working. Proper ground scheme for low noise was an important factor so bus bar ground for the preamp combined with a star ground point near the power transformer keep that pesky swarm of Bees at bay!
